What is an escape room?

How long does it last?
The game lasts 1 hour but your whole experience will be around 90 minutes.

What do I get for my money?
You will receive a welcome brief, enjoy a 1 hour escape room game, have a review discussion including a digital team photo.

What time should we arrive?
You will be given a time to arrive that will be 15 minutes before your game. Please arrive for that time.

Am I actually locked in?
Yes, but there will be someone on the other side of the door monitoring you in case you need to be let out. However, the game will continue for the other team members except in an emergency.

Can I play if I’m claustrophobic?
There is no reason why not. The room is large.

What is the recommended age?
We would recommend 12+ just because of the maturity of the challenges but at least 1 member of the team must be a responsible adult over the age of 18.

What is the recommended team size?
4 would be ideal. We say it can be played with 2 to 6 players per team but less people will make it harder to complete in the allotted time.

How do I book?
Bookings must be completed through online booking system

Can I play as an individual?
No, Minimum of 2 people. Trust us, you need the help.

Can we bring even more players than we booked with?
The number of players defines the room price. If you bring more on the day, you will have to pay the additional cost. Maximum of 6 players.

Can we reschedule our booking?
You can reschedule bookings if you give us at least 48 hours notice. Contact us for details.

Can we cancel our booking?
You can cancel bookings with refund if you give us at least 48 hours notice. Unfortunately, after that time we cannot offer refunds.

Where can I park?
We are situated on Victoria Road, Middlesbrough which has available pay and display parking between 8am and 6pm during the week. Free on weekends.

Is the venue wheel chair accessible?
Yes, we have ramp and lift access to the room.

What is close by?
Situated on Teesside University campus and a minute or 2 from Southfield Road, there are plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walking distance.
